Our commitment
Swimwear that gives back to the ocean
Every piece we make starts with plastic pulled from the sea. Here's how we turn waste into something worth wearing.
Why it matters
Why sustainability isn't optional for us
We started Go Green Swimwear because we couldn't keep surfing past floating plastic and doing nothing about it. The ocean gives us everything — the waves, the joy, the reason to make swimwear at all — and it deserves better than to be treated as a landfill.
So we built our entire supply chain around one question: what's the most responsible way to make a swimsuit? The answer led us to recycled ocean plastic, fair-wage factories, and a commitment to never compromise on either.
The fabric
What our swimwear is made of
We use ECONYL® regenerated nylon — a fabric made entirely from recovered fishing nets, fabric scraps, and industrial plastic rescued from oceans and landfills worldwide.
The journey
From ocean to wardrobe
Ocean plastic collection
Partner organizations collect discarded fishing nets and plastic debris from coastlines and open water across Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean.
Regeneration into yarn
Collected plastic is cleaned, shredded, and chemically regenerated into ECONYL® nylon yarn — identical in performance to virgin nylon, but with a fraction of the environmental cost.
Ethical manufacturing
Our factory partners hold Fair Trade and WRAP certifications. Every worker earns a living wage, and we audit conditions annually.
Shipped to you
Orders are packed in compostable mailers and shipped carbon-offset. We partner with South Pole to neutralize every delivery.
Third-party verified
Certified and accountable
We don't just make claims — we back them up with third-party verification.
Wear the change
Every swimsuit you buy removes ocean plastic and funds the next collection. Shop the full range and join the movement.
